To join the club
How do I join the club?
Mainly Oulun Teekkarien Radiokerho ry is the radio-amateur club of
University of Oulu students, but studying in the university is not
obligatory. Joining the club is also possible if you study in some
other institution, or at least are interested in radio amateur -hobby.
Also foreign radio amateurs working in Oulu area are welcome!
Radio amateur license is not required to join the club!
If you are interested to join the club, please visit our club-evenings
in Tuesday at Yliopistokatu 40's base floor. In clubroom you can fill
application for membership, or print and fill it from this page.
Annual membership fee in year 2005 is 10e.
If you are not a student, we suggest to apply
for "Supporting membership".
How do I get some information about amateur radio activity before joining
the club?
Which are the benefits of joining the club?
- You can be a part of the active radio amateur society

- You can use clubs equipments for your own projects

At the moment (2007) our mast and antennas are down for maintenance.
Note, that if certain bands antenna is missing, it does not mean that
you can't raise an antenna for that band!
